Porta R – Edificações Urbanas, S.A. continues to establish itself as a leading partner in construction and refurbishment within the hotel sector.
It is currently involved in major projects in the Azores, notably the complete refurbishment of the São Miguel Park Hotel and the new spa area at the Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico.
These projects form part of a broader strategy to modernise and enhance the tourism offering of Bensaude Hotels, which is committed to the continuous improvement of its guests’ experience and the excellence of its properties.

The work has been completed and the hotel reopened its doors in early April 2026.
