The Grupo R has reached an important milestone in strengthening its Quality Management and Environmental Management Systems, with the certification of specific activities of the companies GRUPO R – Construção e Inovação, S.A. and PORTA R Edificações Urbanas, S.A., in accordance with international reference standards.
GRUPO R – Construção e Inovação, S.A. obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for its activity in the trade of machinery, tools and parts for industry, and PORTA R Edificações Urbanas, S.A. obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification for its civil construction activity.
This standard recognises the implementation of a Quality Management System based on a process approach, risk and opportunity analysis, clear definition of responsibilities and continuous performance monitoring. This certification attests to the organisations’ ability to ensure the conformity of the services provided, promote continuous improvement and guarantee high levels of reliability, efficiency and customer satisfaction in these specific activities.

At the same time, PORTA R Edificações Urbanas, S.A. also obtained ISO 14001:2015 certification for its civil construction activities, confirming the adoption of a structured Environmental Management System aimed at identifying and controlling the environmental aspects associated with its operations, complying with applicable legal obligations and preventing pollution. The standard also establishes requirements for setting environmental objectives, the efficient use of resources and the continuous reduction of environmental impacts resulting from construction activity.
These certifications reflect the commitment of the Grupo R companies to responsible management practices in line with recognised international standards, within the scope of the certified activities, promoting quality, operational efficiency, legal compliance and environmental responsibility, and reinforcing the trust of customers, partners and other stakeholders.
